Villa Santoro has recently undergone complete renovation and rebuilding with a project by an Austrian designer and Milanese architect team . The combined Trullo and Masseria style typical and unique to the area have been retained along with internal original stonework and vaulted ceilings. The interior has been sympathetically restored to give a clean minimal space with all possible modern appliances and furnishings.

The villa has the beautiful local Fasano limestone flooring throughout. The position on a hill side with stunning views over a valley toward Cisternino and Locorotondo is only 40 minutes from Brindisi airport and 1 ¼ hours from Bari airport. The villa sits in its own 2 acre grounds with olive and almond trees and numerous fruit trees including apricot, fig, pear and pomegranate. Opening from the main kitchen/diner through 3 sets of patio doors, this shaded stone terrace provides a seamless "al fresco" dining experience.

Polished cement work surfaces with hob, barbeque and sink. Massive Trani marble dining table and benches and chairs to seat at least 12. Extensive views over the surrounding countryside toward Cisternino over the sofra and pool.

A couple of steps down from the external kitchen/dining area, another shaded terrace and sofra overlooking the pool, with integral stone seating with comfortable removable cushions providing a wonderful area to relax at any time of day and enjoy the wonderful views

3 Stylish Modern Bathrooms, 2 en-suite

The main bedroom and en-suite shower room occupy the 2 Trullo cones (candela), the interior of the cones being exposed stone. Double bed, wardrobe space. Shower/bath room (wet room) with 2 basins, bidet and lavatory. This bedroom is accessed from the living room, through a short passage with floor to ceiling toughened glazed walls.

There is a further doube bedroom occupying the separate lamia, with ensuite bathroom and a further two twin bedrooms, with large shared bathroom. These bedrooms and bathrooms are similarly equipped to the main bedroom and ensuite bathroom.

Set in 2 acres on a hillside with views of Locorotondo and Cisternino. Plantings include 25 olive trees at least 4 of which are over 150 years old. The old vines in the valley to the front of the house are still throwing up shoots from the ancient roots and the hope is to re-instate it as a viable concern. 

There are also almond and walnut trees, along with native quercus and suber oak trees. Many fruit trees include pomegranate, fig, apricot, pear and loquat. During the spring months all manner of wild flowers are to be found in bloom.
