Puglia has become increasingly popular over the last 10 years as a destination both for holiday home buyers and those from England and elsewhere to retire or simply move to as a realisation of their dreams to live in a more equitable climate with all else that’s wondeful about Puglia. People, food, wine, landscape, beaches….the list goes on.
The problem for overseas buyers is that there are numerous agenzia immobiliare (estate agents) who will happily sell anything and everything without any real concern for the needs of the buyer. A sale is a sale!!
I have bought my own property here and know how fretful the whole search process was. I was lucky but many are not and give up, sadly after trawling through thousands of completely unsuitable properties either online or on the ground.
