Masseria Melograno
Photographs | Location | Booking Calendar | Contact |
A wonderful small Masseria of real character set in a valley surrounded by olive trees and various different fruit trees. The bright red colour is based upon the original colouring of many of the buildings in Puglia, derived from the red ochre colour of the local earth. Only a short drive from Martina Franca or Cisternino with their shops and restaurants, the Masseria also has a large swimming pool for those long lazy days of doing nothing.
Masseria Melograno has been completely restored and renovated, with attention to all the original detail of the vaulted stone ceilings and incorporates the original horse trough into the cleverly worked interior design. For all the attention to retaining the original character no modern convenience has been spared.
